General Info
Prerequisites for Participation

All shooters are required to have any of the following:

A current and valid USPSA or IDPA classification.

Completion of the RRGC Intro to Competition Class, or equivalent course.

Other verifiable ‘Action Shooting’ competition experience.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER SHOT A MATCH AT RICHMOND HOTSHOTS, YOU MUST MEET THE PREREQUISITES ABOVE AND SEND A VERIFICATION EMAIL TO USPSA@RICHMONDRODANDGUN.COM PRIOR TO THE MATCH OR YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO BEING WITHDRAWN AND/OR BEING BANNED FROM FUTURE MATCHES.

USPSA Practice
Practices consist of one static line bay and one practice stage bay. Practice sessions are typically on Saturdays from 9:30 AM - 1 PM, depending on schedule. Be sure to check the Range Schedule (the button at the top) before coming out for practice, to check availability!

Match Information
Sunday
Sunday is the main match with shooters’ meeting beginning at 9:00 am (pre-registration preferred and available until Friday 6pm, walk-ons with surcharge). Sunday squads WILL brass and tear down stages before leaving.

Saturday
Saturday afternoon match is available to stage builders / RO’s / and then public as space allows. Saturday matches begin at 2:30PM (pre-registration required / limit 50, squadding by Friday 6pm prior to match required, no walk-ins).
Saturday squads WILL brass their final stage before leaving. Depending on time of year, you may finish under artificial lights. There is a limit of 4 “Unclassified” shooters per squad on Saturday, you may be moved to balance against available RO’s.

Match Fees
If you sign up for a match and then later withdraw, there will be a $5 non-refundable administrative fee. If you do not withdraw by the Friday before the match and no-show, your match fee will be forfeit.

Late arrival to match: $5
Withdrawal fee: $5
Juniors (under 18): FREE
