Prerequisites for Participation
All shooters are required to have any of the following:
USPSA or IDPA classification.
Completion of the RRGC Safe Handgun Class, or an ‘Intro to USPSA’ class, or equivalent course.
Other verifiable ‘Action Shooting’ competition experience.
Practices consist of one static line bay and one practice stage bay. Practice sessions are typically on Saturdays from 9:30AM - 1:30PM, depending on schedule. Be sure to check the Calendar of Events before coming out for practice, to check availability!
Sunday is the main match with shooters’ meeting beginning at 9:00 am (pre-registration preferred and available until Friday 6pm, walk-ons with surcharge). Sunday squads WILL brass and tear down stages before leaving.
Saturday afternoon match is available to stage builders / RO’s / and then public as space allows. Saturday matches begin at 2:30PM (pre-registration required / limit 50, squadding by Friday 6pm prior to match required, no walk-ins).
Saturday squads WILL brass their final stage before leaving. Depending on time of year, you may finish under artificial lights. There is a limit of 4 “Unclassified” shooters per squad on Saturday, you may be moved to balance against available RO’s.
If you sign up for a match and then later withdraw, there will be a $5 non-refundable administrative fee. If you do not withdraw by the Friday before the match and no-show, your match fee will be forfeit.
