Welcome to the Richmond Hotshots IPSC/USPSA World Wide Web site. The purpose of this site is to provide the public with information about IPSC/USPSA events sponsored by the Hotshots.
The Richmond Hotshots is a non-profit organization. The club is operated under the Richmond Rod & Gun Club. Hotshot's has been in operation since the early 1980's. IPSC matches are held every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Plaques are given to the top three, dependent on the number of sign-up per class.
We also have "specialty matches"(ICORE, COWBOY, IDPA, LONG GUN and STEEL CHALLENGE matches) spread out during the course of the year. ( Please refer to the Schedule of events for specific dates and matches)

Attention New Shooters: The Richmond Safe Handgun Competitor classes are offered at Richmond. Shooters will now be required to attend one of these classes to be able to shoot any of the matches. For more info Click Here or Contact Jeff Nachmann. 2008 Golden Gate Regional IDPA Championship Primers as prizes There has been some interest in changing the prize structure for Hotshots Limited and Open USPSA matches. There have been ideas floated around for a while to substitute primers in lieu of plaques and name plates. The lowdown is that you may choose to participate in either program but not both at the same time. Todd Crow will be taking names of those who are no longer interested in physical plaques/plates and will work with our prize supplier to remove those people who wish to receive primers as prizes as opposed to the system that is in place at this time. It is unknown which brand at current time. There will be more details forthcoming at the matches or you can contact Todd Crow for further information/clarification.
